What is in the beauty box?
A.
Each Beauty Box include a 2022 Black Business Directory keychain, or as we like to call it the modern yellow pages/yelp for black businesses. These keychains have the words FIND.DISCOVER.SAVE on each of them and are our way of helping people support the black business community. These keychains help you to easily find your favorite black owned brands, events and more, discover new ones to support AND save money while doing it. We also have a review section so you can give your honest feedback.

How will I save money using my keychain?

Each listing within the directory has the following viewing options:
Overview Photos Deals
The deals option is how a customer saves money. Each deal has a limited number of discounts that a business provides to members. A discount can be either a percentage off or a dollar amount off of selected items that the business sales. In order to redeem a deal a member must present their keychain to the business.
TUESDAY DEALS
On Tuesdays we promote up to 5 online code business deals throughout the day for example use code BBB for a FREE Candle from Alluring Goddess. To see these deals simply scan your keychain. Please note our keychains are dynamic which means when you scan it you may not always see the same thing. We will change the keychain on Tuesdays to display freebies, sales and more so be sure to scan often so you don't miss out. Not to mention you get 20% off most items we sell online and in store every other Tuesday of the month
**Please note you do not need the printout to redeem any deals just your keychain. **
Q.
How much is each box/keychain?
A.
The keychain within each box cost $10.00 year. If you subscribe to the membership a new keychain will be sent to you yearly so you can continue to enjoy discounts.
Q.
I'm a paid member do I have to carry my keychain with me to every business to redeem the deals?
A.
Yes in order to redeem the keychain deals you will need to have your keychain on hand. If a deal is redeemed via code you will not need your keychain.
Q.
My family/friend is not a member can they use my QR code to redeem for deals?
A.
No, our membership is very affordable and the only person allowed access to deals are paying members. With the exception of deals that are redeemed via code anyone can redeem those regardless of membership status.Should you lend your membership out and get caught doing so both you and the current member will be placed on the "No Discount List"
Q.
What is the "No Discount List"?
A.
The "No Discount List" is a list of names submitted to all participating businesses to let them know these individuals are not eligible for deals under any circumstances.
Q.
How long will it take for me to receive my keychain?
A.
Your will get direct access to the directory immediately upon purchase and will be able to start accessing deals that require online codes. Your physical keychain will be mailed with 3-5 business days.
